Omaha Gives! is the community’s online platform to showcase the region’s spirit of generosity, increase awareness about local nonprofits, and celebrate the collective effort it takes to make the Omaha-Council Bluffs area great.

Registration for the 8th annual giving celebration on May 20, 2020 is now open for 501(c)3 nonprofits serving the Omaha-Council Bluffs area. Returning nonprofits are not required to register again, but will need to agree to the 2020 Terms and Liability to remain eligible for participation.

Since its beginning in 2013, Omaha Gives! has raised more than $49 million, celebrating more than 1,000 nonprofits in Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie Counties. Grounded by the support of presenting sponsor, American National Bank, the giving day strives to address accessibility in philanthropy—giving community members, regardless of backgrounds, the opportunity to be a philanthropist via online donations.

Following the success of Giving Tuesday in 2019, the Omaha Community Foundation decided to lower the minimum donation on the OmahaGives.org platform from $10 to $1 to make giving even more accessible.

The $1 minimum donation will remain through the 2020 giving day on May 20, 2020.
