The Audubon County Community Foundation aims to improve the quality of life in Audubon County by supporting community needs in the areas of civic engagement, culture, health, education, and social services. The objective of its grant programs is to fund projects that will have a permanent impact on, and in, Audubon County. As an affiliate of the Omaha Community Foundation, the Audubon County Community Foundation was established in 1997.

Applications for the Fall 2020 grant cycle will be accepted from July 15 through September 1 and must be submitted via the online grant portal. Applications are due by 11:59 PM CST on September 1.
As part of this fall grant cycle, $46,500 is available to support Audubon County nonprofit organizations and community projects. Of the total allocated funds, $2,650 is restricted to the Exira area, $2,220 is designated for the community of Audubon, and $41,630 is available to support projects throughout the county.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, for Fall 2020, the Audubon County Community Foundation will entertain requests for program and operating support, in addition to the historic focus on items of permanence.
