Legacy Giving

Make an impact in this lifetime – and beyond.

At the Omaha Community Foundation, we’re honored to help our donors establish charitable legacies – opportunities to keep doing good and supporting your charitable interests, even after your lifetime.

These legacies may take many different shapes. The Foundation can help you:

  • Include a charity in your will or trust.
  • Select family members or other advisers to stay involved with ongoing gifts and grants.
  • Designate a charity as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA or retirement plan. These accounts can operate in perpetuity, or can close at an agreed-upon date.

Foundation staff members are experts in legacy giving, and we work to truly understand your interests and goals to ensure that your charitable dollars are used according to your original intent.

If you’d like to begin planning your charitable legacy – or if you’d just like to talk about what’s possible – we’d love to meet with you.
