We share how funding decisions are made and highlight areas where donors can make the greatest impact by meeting community needs. We’ve also included a comprehensive overview of the Fund for Omaha, along with a list of all OCF grant opportunities.
With a 36-year legacy, the Fund for Omaha has awarded more than $10 million to local nonprofits, making it the single largest grant program at OCF.
Report Highlights
- In a highly competitive grant cycle, the Fund for Omaha awarded a total of $458,376 to 28 nonprofits, representing 21% of this year’s applicants.
- The demand for operating support and flexible grant funding remains high. We received 136 applications for funding, totaling $3.3 million, up from 110 applications for $2.5 million in 2023.
- Among the four priority areas, the highest amount of funding was allocated to Economic Opportunity (41%) and Mental & Behavioral Health (39%).
