The Omaha Community Foundation is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2023 Nonprofit Capacity Building Program, congratulating the 10 nonprofit leaders of color for their participation and personal growth in the program.
Through dynamic professional development activities, cohort-based peer learning, and executive coaching sessions, this program helps leaders strengthen their organizations, expand their networks, and amplify their community impact.

Selected from a record 67 applicants, these leaders completed a 10-month curriculum designed to unpack and uplift their unique experiences while also increasing their organizational and leadership capacity.
The program is facilitated by Deb Bunting, Dr. Monique Cribbs, and Beth Morrissette, who provide expertise in topics such as infrastructure, strategic planning, fund development, grant writing, and offer leadership coaching.
Each participant also received a $5,000 grant for personal and organizational development.
The 2024 cohort will be announced in November.
