Mammel Family Foundation
The Mammel Family Foundation was established to benefit the community where family members reside through their charitable interests. Grant funds are allocated in the following focus areas:
- Arts & Culture
- Ecology & Environment
- Health & Human Services
- Education
The major factors considered for grants will be need and change as it relates to programs and facilities. The foundation does not typically approve general operating support. Requests for operating support should focus on short-term needs aimed at building the organization’s capacity to achieve its mission. Contributions to endowment funds that are primarily focused on funding operating costs will not normally qualify for a grant.
How to apply
The first step in the application process is filling out a brief general inquiry form. After your inquiry is reviewed, you will be notified if your organization is invited to fill out an application for a funding proposal. Due to the large number of requests received, the Foundation may be unable to respond to all requests that are declined.
This year, the Foundation is using a new online application for all general inquiry forms and funding requests. To access the form:
- Click here to access the online application system.
- On the Logon page, select “Create New Account.”
- You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Organization’s EIN or Tax ID number
- Organization Contact Information: we encourage you to use a company-wide email address if possible.
- User Information: this includes your personal information as the user of the account. You can use the “copy address from organization” button at the top of the form to copy your organization’s information.
- Executive Officer Information: If you are not your organization’s executive officer, you will need to provide your executive officer’s contact information before continuing to set your password.
