As the Community Foundations of Southwest Iowa celebrates its 25th anniversary, we are excited to recognize our growth and share our new look and new messaging with the community.
For the past 25 years, the Community Foundations of Southwest Iowa has maximized the power of philanthropy to strengthen the county affiliates within our footprint. We use both established philanthropic strategies and innovative programs to address our communities’ social and economic needs. By mindfully connecting donors to local nonprofits and helping direct resources to areas that will strengthen our communities, the Community Foundations of Southwest Iowa has positively impacted many organizations throughout the region.
And now we have a brand-new look to reflect our growth and commitment to our future.
New brand. Our new brand is more than a logo—it represents our organization’s essence. It respects our past while positioning ourselves for growth. It reflects our commitment to improving our community. It’s bold yet approachable. With vivid colors, strategic language, and a reinforced focus on inclusivity, the new brand amplifies our mission and adds energy to our work.
New logo. Our new logo illustrates the strength of our connections with our community. It suggests forward movement and our ability to fill gaps as they emerge. But it also expresses that our work is not yet finished. We are particularly excited that the new brand mirrors that of our host foundation, the Omaha Community Foundation, but it still embraces the identity of our nine county affiliates.
Same localized support. Each of our nine foundations has its own local advisory board, and each foundation serves its own county in specific, unique ways. Because of this approach to our work, our brand is positioned as connected to Omaha, but distinctive—with localized support in each county powered by the back office of one of the largest community foundations in the country.
Today, we launch the culmination of many years of great work by revealing our new brand. Our new tagline—Growing Good, Together—also highlights a critical part of our mission. Moving forward, we cannot do this important work without your support. We want your input. We need to know how we can help. As we celebrate our 25-year milestone, we’re more committed than ever to working with all of you to meet our communities’ needs together.
