Nearly fifty Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area nonprofit organizations that work with African American and Latino populations, and neighborhoods across the community received $450,000 in grants in May. The African American Unity Fund and Futuro Latino Funds, grounded in resident-led decision making, focus on building capacity for nonprofits who work to better their respective communities.
