How to Use My OCF Account

Learn how to access your account, recommend a grant, and more!

The Omaha Community Foundation is making your charitable giving even easier!

LOG In to My Account

We are thrilled to announce that we are launching a new online fundholder portal, designed to enhance your experience with the Omaha Community Foundation.

We created this simple reference page to walk you through the basics of the new system.

1. Create your password

You will receive an email from the Omaha Community Foundation with a custom link to log into your account. The email will come from the sender no-reply@fcsuite.com. If you don’t receive the email right away, please check your Junk/Spam folder.

When you click on the custom link, you will be prompted to create a password for the account. We recommend creating a unique password that you don’t use for other online accounts and include capital letters, numbers and special characters.

2. Navigating the portal

Watch a video overview of the new system:

Logging in

Click on the “Login” link in the upper right corner of Omaha Community Foundation website. You can also go directly to https://omahafoundation.fcsuite.com/erp/fundmanager from any web browser. Sign in with your email address and password.

Fundholders with Multiple funds

After you log in, if you have multiple funds at the Omaha Community Foundation, you will see a list of your funds. Click the green “Select” button for the fund you want to review.

Fund Summary

The Fund Summary page is the first page you will see after you log in or select a fund. The Fund Summary is a quick snapshot of your fund’s most recent activity. It will show the current balance, recent contributions and grants paid out from the fund.

Donations to Fund

This tab shows all contributions made into the fund. Clicking on the contributor’s name will bring up their history of contributions, including the date of gift, type, and amount. To download a full list of contributions to the fund, click on the “Export” button, and the system will create an Excel spreadsheet with the information.

Grants

This tab shows a list of all organizations that have received a grant from your fund as well as the number of grants awarded to each organization.

If you click on the “Grant History” button, you can see a list of each grant awarded from your fund, including the date, organization name, and amount. Click on the Grant ID number to see more information about a specific grant. To download a full list of grants from your fund, click on the Export” tab, and the system will create an Excel spreadsheet with the information.

A list of all your recurring grants is available by selecting the “Recurring Grants” button.

Grant Review Cart

This tab lists all grant requests (recommendations) sitting in your Grant Review Cart. You must review and approve these requests before we can take action on them. From this screen, you can delete a grant request or edit the details of a grant, including the dollar amount, description, or anonymity option.

To complete your grant request, click the green “Review Grant Request” button, then click “Submit Grant Request.” You will receive an email when your grant requests have been successfully submitted to our team for review.

If you do not have any grant requests in your Grant Review Cart, the only thing visible on this page will be a list of your most recent grants.

Statements & Financials

You can view your fund statements, financial performance, and documents/files attached to your fund.

Donate

Click this menu item to contribute to your OCF fund(s) using a credit card, debit card, or bank account. You can also use this button to donate other OCF funds.

3. Request a grant

The green “Create Grant Request” button appears on every page of your account. Click this button to start a grant request/recommendation.

The system will then ask if you want to grant to a previous grantee, search for a grantee in our system, or manually enter a new grantee into the system.

  • Previous Grantee: Pick from a list of the organizations that you’ve granted to in the past. Selecting the organization will open the Grant Request form. This is a convenient option if you frequently recommend grants to specific organizations.
  • Search Grantee: Search through thousands of nonprofit organizations in OCF’s database as well as those listed with Candid, a national nonprofit registry. You can narrow the search by name, city, state and EIN. Click the “Create Grant Request” button next to the organization you want to select. This will take you to the Grant Request form.
  • Manual Grantee: You can manually enter the information for the organization. Enter the required information (organization name and address), then hit submit. This will take you to the Grant Request Form.
Complete the Grant Request form, including the amount of the grant, whether you’d like to remain anonymous, and any specific designation for the grant funds (enter in the description field).

When the form is complete, click the “Add To Cart” button.

You will automatically be redirected to your Grant Request Cart. You can review and submit your grant at this time, add additional grants to your cart before submitting them as a group, or leave the grant cart. You can return at any time to finish the review and submission process by clicking on the green “Cart” button or clicking on the Grant Review Cart menu item.

NOTE: Your grant will not be processed until you complete the review and submission process.

To complete your grant request in the cart, click the green “Review Grant Request” button, then click “Submit Grant Request.” You will receive an email when your grant requests have been successfully submitted to our team for review.

4. Tax receipts

You can view and download your tax receipts from your online account. Click on the “Donations” button at the top of your account. Then click on “Tax Receipts” in the menu at the left.

Click on the ID number of the donation you would like the tax receipt for, then click “Print Tax Receipt.” The system will generate a PDF of your receipt, which you can save and/or print.

Only tax receipts generated after June 21, 2024 will be available in your account. For tax receipts prior to that date, please contact our Donor Services team at 402-342-3458 or giving@omahafoundation.org.

5. Update your profile

When you are logged into your account, click on the “Profile” button in the top right corner of the page. You can change your Login (username), password, and contact information. When you are done, click the “Save” button. To return to your account, click on the “Home” tab.

You can also enable two-factor authentication for your account. You can choose which method you would like to use for two-factor authentication: text, email or authenticator app.

6. Log out

There are two ways to log out of your OCF account. First, you can click the “Logout” tab on your homepage. You can also log out by clicking on the “Profile” button in top right corner of the page, then clicking the “Logout” button.

7. Forgot your password?

If you forget your password, you can reset it yourself. On the Login page, click “Forgot Password.” Enter your user name or email address, then click “Reset Password.” The system will send you an email with a link to reset your password. The email will come from “no-reply@fcsuite.com.”
