On May 25, our community came together in a big way to support Omaha Gives! the area’s 4th annual 24-hour online giving day. Together we raised more than $8.9 million from 18,915 donors to support 789 nonprofits throughout our region.
The total includes $464,000 in bonus dollars and prizes raised by the Omaha Community Foundation and more than $550,000 in additional challenge funds raised by the nonprofits themselves. You can view the nonprofits that received the bonus funds and prizes, as well as a list of which nonprofits had the most donors and most donations, here. The success of this year’s event once again make Omaha Gives! the fifth largest giving day in the nation.
