Community Interest Funds

Working together really works

One of the great things about Omaha is that we prefer to be more than spectators to the issues impacting our community. Through the Omaha Community Foundation’s Community Interest Funds, you’re able to take action.

Created to support specific areas of interest in our community, they allow you to focus your efforts on issues that most concern you. Working with others who share your concerns, your enthusiasm and your desire to do something about it – you feel good knowing what you’re doing is really helping.

African American Unity Fund

Futuro Latino Fund

Whether through cultural enrichment, socio-economic wellbeing, civic participation this fund supports the sustainability of local Latino families, neighborhoods and organizations.

Fund for Omaha

Flexible, focused and responsive, the Fund for Omaha helps nonprofits address community needs by identifying their own greatest need and defining a means of achieving it.

Youth in Philanthropy

Introducing and involving youth in philanthropy in our community is a great first step in what hopefully becomes a lifetime of giving back. Local youth leaders review and select grant recipients based on an annual theme.
