GIVING WHERE IT DOES
THE MOST GOOD
People who give through the Omaha Community Foundation are motivated by a simple premise – the desire to give to our community in a way that does the most good for our community. And they like to see the results:
- In improvements to neighborhoods and public places
- In the growth of services and support to key populations in our communities
- In the ability for nonprofit groups to be more successful in the causes they support and the people they serve
- In the adoption of ideas and actions that do more to make Omaha a city that gets better all the time
The Omaha Community Foundation is central to so many of these efforts. Because we’re able to provide a single resource and a single point of contact for reaching any or all of these groups and organizations.
So our donors always know they are giving where it does the most good.
HOW WILL YOU HELP?
INITIATIVES
Greater than any one person, group or neighborhood, these initiatives unite people and organizations in collaborative efforts that benefit the community as a whole or large demographic groups.
COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS OF SOUTHWEST IOWA
Designed to promote local philanthropy, these nine counties are able to respond to the particular needs of its residents, while minimizing administrative costs.
COMMUNITY INTEREST FUNDS
Giving back, getting ahead and overcoming limitations are only some of the reasons donors support funds developed to support at-risk groups in our community.
WORKING WITH THE COMMUNITY
We interact with the community every day, from individual nonprofits to collaborations that involve partners from academia, government, other funders, and volunteers.
