Collective Giving
Together, We Can Accomplish So Much More
As a member of the Omaha Community Foundation, you’re already part of a larger philanthropic effort in our community. If you would like to further join forces with other members who share your specifi c charitable goals, we’d be happy to help you find those people. Collective giving brings like-minded donors together and allows them to pool their gifts without adding extra complications.
Family Giving
The most common type of collective giving is among families. Philanthropy is an excellent way to teach young people the value of giving, and an ongoing charitable project can bring you together even after children grow up and start families of their own. We can help you prioritize your goals, together, and guide you to the type of giving that best fits your family. As always, we’ll handle the administrative duties and the paperwork.

Giving Circles
Giving circles allow you to pool your money with other donors, while working together to choose charities and projects to support. It’s a way to get more involved in the charitable process and meet new people — while also learning more about the needs and nonprofit in our community.

Community Interest Funds
One of the wonderful things about calling Omaha home is that the people who live here don’t see themselves as merely spectators in the community. The Omaha Community Foundation has developed Community Interest Funds to help our members take an active role in Omaha’s well-being. The funds are created to support specific areas of interest — to support specific populations or address specific problems.
