Here, you’ll find people who are just as knowledgeable about our local nonprofit community as we are about making the most of the tax advantages that come from charitable giving, as well as the newest trends, research and ideas in the larger philanthropic world.
It begins with you
Simply share your charitable goals with us and we can call upon our knowledge and resources to help you meet these goals, providing as much or as little guidance as you prefer. You can access their services quickly and easily, with a quick phone call or a face-to-face conversation.
How can we help you?
An individual wants to learn more about how the economic downturn has affected demand at food pantries and shelters — and would also like to remain anonymous, should she decide to get involved. Our staff requests up-to-date information from local agencies, and looks at past donations and programs. We then summarize our findings and share them with the donor to see how she would like to proceed.

Research a specific nonprofit
to be sure the organization is effective and legitimate, and to provide you with details about its programs, budget, leadership, target population, goals and use of funds.

Research broad issues and causes
to identify nonprofits that share your goals and sensibilities, how they’re working together, what they’ve accomplished so far, where continued need exists and even how other communities or the nation is addressing these issues.

Find the right way to give
by developing a giving plan that helps you to decide how much to give, how to structure your giving over time and even weigh the benefits of unrestricted operating grants.
